**Job Summary**
The Assistant Site Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This position is responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring that all work is performed according to specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The Assistant Site Supervisor will coordinate with subcontractors, manage resources, and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

**Duties**
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of the site to monitor progress and adherence to safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide work processes.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets established standards.
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for various phases of the project.
- Provide training and support to team members on best practices in construction techniques and safety measures.

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of quality control processes within the construction industry.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and motivation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise on-site.
- Ability to operate site equipment in support of on site activity (Ex. Zoom Boom, Skid Steer, Man lifts)
- Ability to help out with various skilled labor tasks when required

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction (ideally with commercial projects)
- Understanding of construction processes, building codes and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams),
