We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our fast-paced Accounting team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the company's accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, expenses management, month-end close, and audit preparation. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintain compliance with internal controls and policies, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting function. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

These are the key ways you'll contribute and create impact in this role:

• Assist with month-end close activities, including bank reconciliations, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and other tasks to support accurate financial reporting

• Manage the accounts payable function within Ramp by maintaining accurate vendor records, processing bills in a timely manner, and ensuring proper approval and coding in accordance with company policies

• Oversee the posting and reconciliation of corporate credit card transactions and employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and resolving discrepancies with stakeholders and vendors

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, record payments, and actively manage collections to ensure timely receipt of funds and accurate revenue recognition

• Support the external audit by preparing audit documentation and supporting schedules, and ensure the timely completion of audit sample requests

The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; actively pursuing or designated CPA is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4 and industry experience, is a nice-to-have.

• Familiarity with US GAAP accounting principles and experience with consolidated financial reporting is preferred.

• Proficiency in NetSuite and Google Sheets is preferred

• Strong analytical skills, proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work both on your own and as part of a team.
