Summary

Join our team as an Automotive Technician at Stobie Mechanical & Welding. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and repairing vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and assembly tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Support ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an automotive mechanic background.
  • Proficiency in mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and read schematics.
  • Physical ability for heavy lifting and manual tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer service skills are a plus.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair or related fields is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
