Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires hands-on experience with various automotive systems and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify necessary repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and installations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and recommend appropriate services.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's status.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working with various automotive equipment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician (preferred).
  • Red Seal Certification or valid 310S License (an asset).
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair techniques.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $22.60-$30.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
