Job Description
We are seeking Customer Service Associates to join our clients' collaborative and supportive team in Halifax. In this contract role, successful candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional service to valued customers by handling inquiries and requests efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Accurately process customer service requests via phone and email in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Communicate clearly and professionally, with strong phone etiquette
- Handle stressful situations calmly and respectfully
- Educate customers on policies and service options
- Maintain up-to-date business knowledge to answer questions with confidence
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- 1–2 years of customer service experience
- Minimum Grade XII education; post-secondary education is an asset
- Proficient with computers, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related programs
- Excellent listening, communication, and de-escalation skills, with the ability to adapt to different personality types
- Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
