What is the opportunity?
Are you interested in the opportunity to work as a Benefits Administration Student at RBC?
What will you do?
Administer and maintain company benefits programs
• Apply your experience and knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments including, but not limited to:
o Administering various employee programs, such as group life, medical, dental, disability, provincial health care
o Verifying eligibility for group policies and maintaining statistical data
o Ensuring that benefits administration actions are completed accurately and on time, e.g. assisting with the Annual Enrolment Period process – updating beneficiary designation information, processing benefit enrolment forms, processing Qualification/Disqualification of Common-Law spouse forms
o Assisting in the preparation of benefits related reports
o Participating in the implementation of new or enhanced benefits programs.
•Utilize the latest technologies available to meet business needs
•Be an active contributor to not only your individual team, but to the RBC HR community
•Work as part of an agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
•Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on Human
•Resources, business, data
•Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
•Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
•Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice-to-have
•Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2026 Student placement with a start date of May 2026, and end date of August 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
