Job Title: Technical Manager
Location: Ontario (travel required within Canada)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and energetic HVAC Technical Trainer to support our growing Kepler product line, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering technical training to contractors, distributors, and internal staff, ensuring correct installation, commissioning, and service practices that align with company standards and local codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical training sessions (in-person and online) for HVAC contractors, service technicians, and sales partners.
- Develop and update training materials, presentations, and manuals for furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
- Provide on-site support for product installation, troubleshooting, and warranty diagnostics.
- Work closely with the product and sales teams to gather feedback and improve training content.
- Participate in technical events, trade shows, and dealer meetings to promote product knowledge.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in HVAC systems, refrigerants, controls, and evolving industry standards.
- Support internal teams with technical documentation and training when new models or updates are released.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, service, or technical support.
- Gas Technician (G2/G1) and/or refrigeration license preferred.
- Strong understanding of heat pump technology, HVAC controls, and system design.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel (within Ontario and occasionally across Canada).
- Bilingual (English/Mandarin or English/French) is an asset.
