Agrai-Dairy Mart, Ltd. is a fast-growing milking and dairy barn equipment dealer with three locations covering all of Alberta. We specialize in full sales, installation and servicing of the following product lines: DeLaval, Nuhn, Artex, JOZ, and Sun-North Systems.

We are currently looking to hire a permanent, full-time Counter Sales Associate to work out of our head office location in Lacombe, AB. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers either visiting our branch or via telephone and/or email correspondence.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent service to any clients that walk-in, phone, or email the branch to place orders and/or pick up parts or have parts shipped.
  • Ordering of parts for stock or customer orders in a timely and efficient manner, informing management and customer of any filling issues that may occur.
  • Entering all sales orders daily and with accuracy.
  • Informing management of new product requests based on customer communications.
  • Receiving shipments of parts ordered and dispersing them as required in a time-efficient manner.
  • Ensuring the stock room is well organized and kept in a neat and orderly fashion. Informing management of any potential problems or low stock items.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Ensuring the main office and warehouse are kept tidy.
  • Assisting with Shipping/Receiving as well as loading up customer vehicles using a forklift, as required.
  • Other duties, as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Exceptional communication skills required.
  • Experience using inventory software preferred.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fork-lift experience required.
  • Some dairy experience preferred.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.

Experience:

  • Customer Service (1 year preferred)
  • Sales (1 year preferred)
  • Dairy/Agriculture (1 year preferred)
