Role Description

This is a
future equity role
based in Toronto, ON for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, develop and implement strategic initiatives, and provide overall leadership and direction. Responsibilities include managing financial performance, driving business growth, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring the company's vision and mission are achieved. Additionally, the CEO will work closely with the board of directors and senior management team to cultivate partnerships, lead business planning, and oversee sales and operational functions.

Qualifications

  • Finance and Operations Management skills
  • Experience in Business Planning and Strategic Planning
  • Expertise in Sales and driving business growth
  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Experience in the robotics or maritime industry is a plus
  • Previous pre seed fund raising experience will get most priority.
