About The Firm
This award-winning Vancouver design studio is known for delivering elegant, enduring architecture rooted in context and constructability. Their work spans complex mixed-use, high-rise residential, and community projects, with a reputation for well-executed buildings and smooth delivery from design through construction. The office combines the creative energy of a boutique practice with the resources and rigor of a larger studio. • Develop and review complex construction details, assemblies, and building envelope transitions for constructability and performance
  • Attend and contribute to consultant, client, and site meetings alongside partners in charge; track actions and ensure follow-through
  • Support construction phase activities including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, issuing SIs/CCNs, and conducting field reviews
  • Ensure alignment with BCBC , VBBL , and municipal processes, including permit, rezoning, and development submissions
  • Mentor and support intermediate and junior staff, fostering growth in detailing, technical thinking, and Revit workflows

Qualifications

  • Architectural Technology diploma or equivalent education
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years of local experience
  • Proven track record delivering coordinated construction document sets for complex concrete high-rise and mixed-use projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit , including familiarity with families, worksharing, and BIM standards
  • Strong understanding of BCBC, VBBL, and local authority requirements
  • Skilled in building envelope detailing, assemblies, and constructability principles
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities; comfortable leading meetings and driving technical decisions
  • Organized, accountable, and proactive, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for well-built architecture

What's On Offer

  • Comprehensive extended health and dental benefits
  • Flexible hybrid work model with an emphasis on in-office collaboration
