Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Ice Cream Maker + Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality ice cream and related desserts, ensuring consistency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Prepare ice-cream mixes according to recipes and processes
  • Process mixes through the ice-cream machine, compose flavours into pints + scoops
  • Prepare ice-cream novelties { sandwiches, cakes, etc }
  • Prepare a variety of mix-ins { crumbs, sauces, candy, etc }
  • Prepare and portion cookie dough
  • Prepare a daily / weekly production task list
  • Bake cookies + novelty desserts
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels across all mix-ins
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all company products, standards and procedures
  • Maintain a positive attitude throughout the learning process
  • Consume and provide feedback on ice-cream, cookies and desserts
  • Share your imaginative ideas for new flavour creations
  • Part-take in R&D
  • Follow health and safety standards
  • Provide additional support where needed, including and not limited to washing dishes, wrapping chocolate bars, folding boxes, labeling jars, cleaning, sweeping, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and offering samples when appropriate
  • Support the team in maintaining a smooth kitchen operation during busy hours

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or baking is required
  • Skills in food presentation are highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is essential
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for culinary arts
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
  • Ability to lift 25kg, and to hold 12 kg
  • NDA is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
