Position: Millwork Engineer / Detailer

We now have openings in our engineering and detailing department.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We currently have an immediate opening for a MillworkCAD Detailer using Inventor, Solidworks or similar 3D software in a full time position. Our ideal candidate is a detailed, critical thinker who has great analytical skills and who is a team player.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

CAD Detailer:

  • Creating fully detailed shop drawings from architects or designer's drawings and renderings, creating breakout drawings for ordering metal, glass, acrylic etc.
  • Knowledge and proficiency of Inventory / Solidworks is mandatory, AutoCAD 2D is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of various materials used in the store fixture industry i.e. metal, wood, acrylic, glass etc. a must.

Project Coordinator (asset):

  • Manage projects in a coordination role from start to end.
  • Liaison with clients to adhere to their specific requests
  • Create a Bill of Material to highlight all components of the job while keeping track of costs involved
  • Co-ordinate with the shop managers and purchasing department to ensure projects are on track

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High Level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks
  • Understanding Cabinetry Construction. Materials & Methods
  • Competent in reading schematics and blueprints
  • Analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Highly detailed mindset and organizational skills
  • Capable of working in a fast paced environment under deadlines
