Overview:
Responsible for overseeing meal service, special events, housekeeping, laundry, and ensuring high-quality service in compliance with policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise dining room operations, meal service, and special events.
- Manage housekeeping and laundry services for residents and facility.
- Train, schedule, and coach staff; resolve personnel issues.
- Monitor workflow, evaluate performance, and maintain quality standards.
- Communicate with residents, address concerns, and report dietary needs.
- Assist with budgeting, policy development, and staff education.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control regulations.
- Promote resident rights and quality assurance programs.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 education; Food & Beverage and Hospitality training.
- 3+ years supervisory experience in fine dining or hospitality.
- Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills.
- Computer proficiency an asset; knowledge of OHSA required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. alone and 160 lbs. with assistance; frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
