Prestige Hospitality Corp is seeking a Project Coordinator for the renovation of Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North and Homewood Suites by Hilton Calgary Airport, which is perfectly situated close to Calgary International Airport.

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Project coordinator on a contract basis to assist in the renovation of our property.
Key Responsibilities
· Must be an experienced construction professional with proven project coordination abilities in Alberta, familiar with provincial building standards and industry practices.
· Coordinate and engage with existing and new trades to ensure smooth project execution.
· Prepare and maintain detailed Gantt charts to track project timelines and milestones.
· Take accurate on-site measurements or verify that measurements completed by others are correct.
· Review drawings and scope packages for each area and trade, assigning tasks accordingly.
· Verify that the correct products are ordered and installed in compliance with brand standards and vendor requirements.
· Manage procurement activities to ensure all materials are ordered in a timely manner.
· Monitor installation progress and ensure all work is completed on schedule.
· Obtain, review, and compare quotes from multiple trades to support selection and budgeting.

Requirements
- Must be an experienced construction professional with proven project coordination abilities in Alberta, familiar with provincial building codes, safety regulations, and industry practices.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction project coordination, site supervision, or construction management.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and trade packages.
- Proven experience scheduling trades and managing timelines using tools such as Gantt charts or project-management software.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, material lead times, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with trades, vendors, and clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to resolve site issues efficiently.
- Ability to conduct on-site inspections, verify measurements, and ensure quality control.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and ability to enforce compliance on site
