Server Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant by providing excellent customer service and assisting the servers in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Duties
- Assist servers in setting up tables and preparing the dining area for service
- Provide menus and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Take drink orders and deliver beverages to guests
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Refill water glasses and provide additional condiments as needed
- Assist servers in delivering food orders to tables
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including restocking supplies

Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems for cash handling purposes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Strong customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
