Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist our dentists in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This role requires a strong background in dental assisting, receptionist duties, and a passion for working with pediatric patients. Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix and familiarity with orthodontics procedures are highly valued.

Duties:
  • Assist dentists during dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
  • Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions
  • Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, billing, and maintaining patient records using Dentrix
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
  • Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
  • Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and procedures
  • Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
  • Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
