Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and driving sales through effective merchandising and upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales are highly valued. This role offers an engaging environment where communication skills, organization, and a passion for retail are essential to success.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and visually appealing
  • Upsell complementary products to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Utilize effective communication skills, including phone etiquette, to assist customers both in-store and over the phone
  • Manage time efficiently to handle multiple customers during busy periods while maintaining organizational standards
  • Support inventory management through merchandising activities and stock replenishment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or related fields is preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Experience with technology sales or product demos is advantageous
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of retail sales techniques, upselling strategies, and phone etiquette
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
