Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
  • Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food preparation and serving duties
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including sanitation protocols

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering skills
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus
