The Crew Member will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for guests while ensuring efficient restaurant operations.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health regulations
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order completion
  • Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, packaging, and restocking supplies as needed
  • Support team members in various restaurant functions to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
  • Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$17.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
