As a member of our installation & service team, you are essential to the experience we provide to our clients. Whether it be delivering an ergonomic task chair to a home office , or outfitting a mutli-floor office space with new furniture, we go above and beyond in creating the best places to work and learn for all of our clients.

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Furniture Installer & Service Team Member. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, physically demanding environment, offering exceptional service while ensuring our client's product is handled, installed and maintained to the highest standard.

Hourly Full Time, M-F, 8am-5pm with opportunity for overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing Freight deliveries: Receive & offload, tag, and stage freight both at our warehouse & on site.
  • Furniture Delivery, Installation & Assembly: Accurately & efficiently assemble and install various types of furniture in residential, healthcare, education, and commercial settings. Tear downs and reconfigurations also included. Product includes, but is not limited to; workstations & desks, office chairs, filing cabinets, lounge furniture, meeting tables, acoustic office pods, and Modular Wall systems. Upon completion, all product & client spaces must be left in clean and organized working order.
  • Warehouse & Vehicle Management: Manage & keep warehouse & company vehicles organized and clean alongside all team members.
  • Customer Service: Provide top-tier customer service, addressing clients' questions, concerns, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to furniture installation, assembly, or maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Labour: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and installing heavy furniture pieces carefully and safely.
  • Maintenance & Service: Complete on site product repair and maintenance , ensuring all products are in excellent working condition.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members & team lead to complete installations and service requests in a timely & positive manner.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Must have GED. Higher education or trades certifications considered an asset.
  • Experience: Prior experience in furniture installation, service, or related fields (manual labour, handywork, product assembly, trades work etc.) considered an asset.
  • Customer Service & Communication Skills: Ability to respectfully engage with customers, answer their questions, and provide exceptional service . Individual must be able to organize and relay all required information & paperwork back to the appropriate team members as well following job completions.
  • Physical Ability: Must be comfortable and able to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, kneeling, carrying, etc. both safely and with accuracy.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to think quickly and find solutions to challenges during the installation process when possible.
  • Positive Attitude & Work Ethic: Seeking someone who brings a can do attitude to every work environment and is willing to work hard & learn.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have valid driver's license.
