Responsibilities

This role oversees and completes weekly or bi-weekly lawn care services with a high standard of quality. Duties include leading crew members in mowing and trimming, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring proper use and upkeep of equipment. The technician must communicate clearly with clients and team members to ensure expectations are met and issues are handled promptly.

Experience & Qualifications

Applicants should have supervisory experience in landscape maintenance or a related field, along with a strong background in lawn care or similar outdoor services. Leadership ability, knowledge of safety standards, and hands-on equipment experience are required. A clean background check and driver's abstract are mandatory. A reliable form of transportation and communication are mandatory.

Hiring Timeline

We expect to complete the hiring process by April 1, with the successful candidate beginning work in mid to late April. As the lawn care season winds down in late October, the technician will transition into snow removal duties.

Compensation

The base wage for this position is $18 per hour. SurfacePro operates lawn care on a pay-for-performance model, where compensation grows alongside route efficiency, capacity, and pricing. As these benchmarks are achieved, technicians may earn in excess of $25 per hour.
