The Wellness Supervisor is responsible for ensuring top resident care is priority, with a high level of focus in time management. **Skills and key deliverables that will take you further**: - You are an exceptional leader - a patient team player, motivator, coach, mentor, and professional role model - Coordinate various business activities within the vision and guiding philosophy of Connecting Care - A strong personal commitment to Person Directed Care approaches - Current familiarity with the Eden Alternative Philosophy and the Domains of Well-Being is preferred - Strives to attain excellence in Resident, family member and employee care partner satisfaction - Friendly with a sense of humor and the utmost respect for all persons - Knowledge of supportive living services, assessment, and care planning - Attains and maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, provincial, and federal regulatory standards - Demonstrates strength in building partnerships with Residents, family members, employee care partners, volunteers, external care partners and the community at large to ensure the vibrancy of our community - Flexible, willingness to prioritize and re-adjust routines, open to change for the benefit of the community - Strong leadership, supervisory, organizational, communication, and time and resource management skills - Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills, deal effectively with difficult or crisis situations - Ensure an interdisciplinary effort to achieve the successful integration of quality of life and quality of care - Responsible for the discipline and discharge of LPN’s and HCAs and participates in investigations and grievance processes in accordance with Well-Being Strategies - Liaise with the Manager/HR regarding human resource items as required - Ongoing monitoring and continuous quality improvement - Demonstrates an awareness of accident and injury prevention and adheres to safe work practices (mindful of the psychological health and safety of our employee care partners) - Using the available resources, the Wellness Supervisor is responsible for delegating, coordinating, and evaluating the delivery of care based on the Resident Care Plan & Service Plan - Ensure that care delivered recognizes each Resident as an individual so that personal needs are met beyond traditional nursing practices - Educate and orientate delegated services to care partners as per accepted practice standards **Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from**: - Graduate of a recognized LPN program - Registered and in good standing with their related Licensing Body - Valid Certification in First Aid and CPR - **Experience and knowledge in Performance Management (Experience an asset, must be willing to learn performance management)** **Why join our team?** - A competitive wage and vacation allotment - Health & Dental Benefits program - Health Spending Account - RRSP program with employer matching - Opportunity for personal and career growth - Looking for a happy corporate culture?
