Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with corporate finance standards.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other tools for bookkeeping and financial analysis.
- Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and assisting auditors as required.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement in financial processes.
- Participate in budgeting activities to help forecast future financial performance.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, or Sage is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping procedures and financial services operations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis and reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
