Job Summary

We are seeking for a highly organized and proactive Construction Administrator to support both office and field operations. This role combines traditional construction coordination responsibilities with administrative, financial, and marketing support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all project documentation, including contracts, plans, change orders, and reports.
  • Coordinate communication between contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee construction estimating processes to support budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Assist in scheduling project activities and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support project management teams in procurement activities and contract administration.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and other relevant regulations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Administration & Coordination

  • Support day-to-day construction operations and act as a liaison between management, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, inspections, and project documentation
  • Track project progress, maintain records, and assist with compliance and reporting requirements
  • Manage purchase orders, work orders, and subcontractor documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Construction Administrator, Construction Coordinator, or similar role preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic marketing knowledge and willingness to support promotional activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience preparing construction estimates and invoices
  • Familiarity with construction management or accounting software
  • Experience with social media, digital marketing, or small business marketing initiatives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
