The Job
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with the company's growth and evolving business needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process—from sourcing to placement—delivering an exceptional candidate experience every step of the way
- Source high-quality candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, networking, referrals, and industry platforms
- Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline to meet current and future hiring demands
- Partner with external and international recruitment agencies to support specialized and cross-border hiring
- Conduct detailed interviews to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with company values
- Stay informed on global hiring trends and legal compliance requirements across markets
- Manage multiple concurrent searches with precision and attention to deadlines
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
- Collaborate closely with HR and department leaders to share market insights and recruitment best practices
- Support team engagement initiatives and broader HR projects as needed
What you bring to the job
You are someone with a proven track record of meeting hiring targets and supporting business growth. You love working with others and come with the following:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including U.S. and international hiring ideally
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, tools, and global talent markets
- Ideal industry examples (Wholesale, Retail, Design, CPG, cosmetics, lighting, furniture)
- Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office, and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with a results-driven mindset
- General HR experience is considered an asset
