SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist

Hotshot Coffee Sleeves is a fast-growing Canadian manufacturer of custom-printed coffee sleeves, paper cups, and branded packaging serving clients across Canada and the United States. We are looking for a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist who can take ownership of our online presence, drive inbound leads, and manage our full digital marketing ecosystem.
You will play a critical role in building our brand visibility, improving SEO rankings, managing paid advertising campaigns, and creating content that strengthens our position as a leader in the custom-printed packaging industry. The focus will be on our Canadian website and later our USA site as well.
Key ResponsibilitiesSearch Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Manage on-page SEO: metadata, schema markup, internal linking, page structure, image optimization.
- Oversee off-page SEO: backlink acquisition, outreach, directory listings, monitoring toxic links.
- Conduct ongoing keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.
- Improve indexing and technical SEO through Google Search Console, crawl fixes, and performance optimization.
- Optimize product pages across both (US market) and (Canadian market).
Content & Website Management
- Write and optimize product descriptions, blog posts, landing pages, FAQs, and marketing copy.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all website content.
- Collaborate with our internal team to update WooCommerce pages, improve UX, and support new product rollouts.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Plan and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create engaging captions, short-form videos, graphics, and campaign themes.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule with high-quality, brand-appropriate content.
- Run small-scale social ad campaigns and boost posts where appropriate.
Paid Advertising (PPC)
- Manage Google Ads, including Search, Display, Remarketing, and Performance Max.
- Optimize ad groups, keywords, extensions, negative keywords, and conversion tracking.
- Monitor ROAS and regularly adjust campaigns to improve results.
- Prepare monthly reports on ad performance and suggestions for improvement.
Analytics & Reporting
- Use Google Analytics GA4, Google Search Console, and ad dashboards to monitor performance.
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Track conversions, lead form submissions, call tracking, and customer behaviour.
Email Marketing (optional but an asset)
- Manage newsletters, promotional blasts, and automated drip campaigns.
- Create A/B tests for subject lines and content variations.
Other Required Skills
- Experience with WordPress/WooCommerce.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe tools, or similar).
- Understanding of B2B e-commerce and manufacturing/wholesale marketing.
Requirements
- Must legally be able to work in Canada
- Excellent English and strong communication skills- spoken and written
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Previous work in an SEO agency or design agency and asset
Salary is based on experience.
