sales operations +

wedding planning execution
under one unified role.

Position Overview:

The
Sales & Planning Manager
plays a key leadership role within Destawed, overseeing both

the
group travel sales division
and
the
wedding planning operations
for assigned

destination wedding files.

This is a dual, high-impact position that requires strong client-facing communication, sales

strategy, planning coordination, and team leadership. You will manage a small sales team,

oversee the booking pipeline, and step in as the key point of contact for couples, planners, and

resorts to ensure seamless delivery from inquiry to "I do."

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Revenue Management

-Oversee the sales team, Destination Wedding Consultants and Sales Admins.

-Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly/quarterly revenue goals.

-Manage group travel sales for destination wedding guests and ensure accurate handoff

to the Travel Team.

-Track lead flow, conversion rates, and booking performance using CRM tools.

-Maintain strong relationships with planners, couples, and resort partners to drive repeat

and referral business.

-Approve package pricing, promotions, and special requests.

-Lead weekly pipeline meetings and report performance to executive leadership.

Wedding Planning & Client Experience

-Act as planning lead for assigned wedding files once booked.

-Liaise with on-site resort coordinators, décor teams, and vendors to ensure timelines,

logistics, and contracts are accurately executed.

-Oversee final details: seating plans, welcome events, guest counts, vendor arrivals,

décor specifications, ceremony flow, etc.

-Host virtual planning calls with couples and planners as required.

-Ensure all files meet luxury execution standards and brand expectations.

-Create and enforce planning SOPs to streamline operations, reduce errors, and improve

client satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Training

-Coach, train, and mentor sales staff to improve close rates and service delivery.

-Support consultants with escalated client questions and high-value inquiries.

-Conduct performance reviews and identify growth/training needs.

-Uphold a culture of accountability, organization, and elite client care.

Escalation & Resolution Management

-Assess and resolve booking, planning, or service issues before escalation to senior

leadership.

-Collaborate cross-departmentally with Travel, Finance, and Operations.

-Document resolved issues and drive process improvements to prevent repeat problems.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.

-3–5+ years in sales, account management, or business development (hospitality or

travel preferred).

-Strong leadership experience managing staff, KPIs, and service standards.

-Strong understanding of destination wedding logistics, resort partnerships, and group

travel.

-Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

-Ability to manage multiple client files at once with accuracy and calm under pressure.

-Confidence in CRM platforms, workflow software, and digital project management tools.
