We are currently recruiting an experienced Industrial, Mining, & Power Business Development Manager to develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones throughout Ontario. This position will be remote based in Northern Ontario and will require travel throughout the Province to develop business on behalf of our Thunder Bay and Toronto branches.

As an Industrial, Mining, & Power Business Development Manager at VECTOR RESTORATION, you will focus on the Heavy Industrial and Power Generation markets, including Mining, Oil and Gas, Heavy Manufacturing, and Hydroelectric power. Your role involves overseeing condition assessments and implementing technology–driven solutions, including structural strengthening, concrete repair, waterproofing, and corrosion control. You'll collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Technologies teams to develop effective solutions that address construction challenges and meet customer needs.

The Successful Candidate Will Also Be Responsible For

  • Developing, maintaining, and expanding business relationships with owners, engineers, and general contractors in the Industrial, Mining, and Power Generation markets.
  • Participating in sales meetings, sales calls, seminar facilitation, lunch & learns, trade shows, and the development of other sales strategies and initiatives
  • Proactively managing accounts and expanding the Company's business relationship with them
  • Meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
  • Creating, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
  • Managing a sales process related to projects with varying levels of complexity and contract values

Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this exciting opportunity:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in construction sales, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked within the mining, industrial, or power markets in Ontario.
  • Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals/quotas utilizing a CRM system.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead key account and sales strategies to close complex deals.
  • Local travel 70%-80% of the time throughout Ontario.
