Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained, repaired, and operating efficiently. The Mechanic will work closely with other team members to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

Duties

  • Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
