Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry. The Apprentice Mechanic will work under the supervision of experienced mechanics, assisting in diagnosing and repairing vehicles while developing essential skills for a successful career in mechanics.

Duties

  • Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles
  • Help diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Support experienced mechanics in disassembling and reassembling vehicle components
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills
  • MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS IS A REQUIREMENT

Skills

  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and components is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies in the automotive field
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting
