Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. This role is essential in safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
  • Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe and record activities within the premises
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing appropriate action or escalation when necessary
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
  • Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required to address security concerns
  • Conduct loss prevention measures by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing corrective actions

Experience

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security protocols is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage is a plus
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively
