Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a lively hospitality environment, supporting both the kitchen and front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and complete before serving
  • Assist with setting up tables and clearing dishes to maintain a clean dining area
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status or special requests
  • Maintain cleanliness in the service area, including food handling and sanitation practices
  • Support servers and other team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes comfortably
  • Experience with cleaning and maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced environment
  • Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not necessary
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn about the food industry
