Purpose of your Position - Non Union

Classification Summary - Union

We are seeking flexible team-players with landscaping and irrigation installation experience to join the Parks labour pool for the 2026 season.

Duties - Union

Assist crews on irrigation installation and upgrade projects in City parks.

Results and Activities - Non union

Credentials - Union

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience performing general labourer duties
  • Experience in turf grass management and irrigation
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills
  • Flexibility and teamwork
  • Driver's Licence Class 5 (Classes 3 and 1 would be considered an asset)
  • A Level II First Aid Certificate would be an asset

Physical Demands

Outside work in all weather conditions including extreme heat. Lifting, pulling and carrying loads up to 50 lbs. Bending, twisting, standing and walking on uneven terrain.
