Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and managing daily food service activities.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food handling and safety standards.
  • Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and service to maintain consistency.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Previous restaurant management or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality and customer service.
