Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team. Your contributions will be vital in creating an engaging shopping experience while achieving store goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales strategies.
• Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to company policies.
• Participate in recruiting efforts by conducting interviews and onboarding new employees.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on budgeting and financial reporting to optimize store performance.
• Implement marketing initiatives to enhance store visibility and drive sales.
• Maintain effective communication with team members regarding store policies, promotions, and operational updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in POS systems, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping practices.
• Solid understanding of merchandising principles, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
• Strong organizational skills with effective time management abilities.
• Experience in recruiting, training & development, and performance management is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate negotiation skills and handle administrative tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $138,086.93-$162,490.23 per year
