Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, retail management experience, and a passion for fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high levels of performance in customer service and sales.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices are followed.
  • Implement marketing strategies to enhance store visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members to foster collaboration and address any operational challenges.
  • Assist with payroll processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Utilize POS systems for efficient transaction processing and inventory tracking.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies within the store environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Familiarity with merchandising techniques and retail sales strategies is essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
