Royal Building Supplies Ltd. has been a leading supplier of construction materials and services for over 50 years. Our mission is to provide exceptional service and quality products to all segments of the industry. We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative, Order Desk.

Inside Sales Representative/Order Desk position is based in the GTA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales and fostering relationships with our customers. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering top-notch service and building materials to our customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls in a professional manner
  • Responsible for handling customer service requests which include – process, enter and ship orders for delivery or pick-up
  • Duties also include checking inventory for product availability, providing delivery dates to customers
  • Assist and support Account Managers with active orders and requests.
  • Deal with product-related problems that customers may have, such as defective products and the return of products.
  • Responsible for spec products for customers
  • Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of construction materials- drywall, insulation, steel studs, aggregates
  • Math skills required
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Computer skills
