Position Overview

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering trusses and other building materials to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and submit pre- and post-shift inspection reports for all equipment.
  • Ensure all loads are properly and securely fastened.
  • Deliver trusses and other building materials safely and on schedule.
  • Verify all deliveries include the correct materials and documentation.
  • Operate all vehicles and equipment safely, correctly, and as instructed.
  • Maintain delivery timelines and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Keep company trucks clean and well-maintained.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with "G" endorsement (required).
  • Clean driving abstract.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Regina and surrounding areas.
  • Understanding of city bylaws and permit requirements.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude.
  • Strong safety orientation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and able to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
