Position Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering trusses and other building materials to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete and submit pre- and post-shift inspection reports for all equipment.
- Ensure all loads are properly and securely fastened.
- Deliver trusses and other building materials safely and on schedule.
- Verify all deliveries include the correct materials and documentation.
- Operate all vehicles and equipment safely, correctly, and as instructed.
- Maintain delivery timelines and communicate effectively with the team.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Keep company trucks clean and well-maintained.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with "G" endorsement (required).
- Clean driving abstract.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Regina and surrounding areas.
- Understanding of city bylaws and permit requirements.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude.
- Strong safety orientation and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to follow instructions.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
