K&D Truck Parts is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team. As a Truck and Transport Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical work in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel-powered trucks and transport vehicles.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered trucks and transport vehicles.

Diagnose and repair malfunctions in diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and other systems.

Perform diagnostic tests using computerized equipment to identify and isolate faults in systems and components.

Inspect and test trucks and transport vehicles to ensure they meet safety and compliance standards.

Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

**Requirements**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck and transport mechanic.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and other systems.

Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Must have own tools.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces.
