Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food preparation and cooking, along with strong leadership skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while fostering a positive team environment in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring effective team management and collaboration.
- Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within the food industry.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both kitchen and service staff.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.38-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
