ECA Teacher/Instructor (NACC ECA Diploma Program & ELCE Certificate Program)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Contract

ECA program delivery – Online, Hybrid & in person

Academic & Experience Requirements:

· Must have Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Diploma or Degree, and registered in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)

· Min 2 years experience in Early Childcare and Knowledge of best practices in the Early Learning development field

· Flexible and hybrid working schedule

· Committed to the principles of diversity and inclusion

· · Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong computer skills, Knowledge and hands on experience of Microsoft Office Suite

· Demonstrate good classroom management skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.

· Experience with CRM / LMS systems is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses

· Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress

· Advise students on program curricula and career decisions

· Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies

· Comply with all regulatory standards as set out by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU), and the Ontario Career College Act, 2005

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4Z 2Z1
