The role of Instructor Support is to contribute to the delivery of the LINC Home Study program by providing front-line support and training to the network of instructors and assisting with various aspects of program administration.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver online LMS and technology training for LINC Home Study Canada instructors across Canada
- Responsible for new instructor orientation and training plan
- Familiarize instructors with program policies and procedures and follow up on an ongoing basis
- Act as a frontline response for instructors, and LINC Home Study language training partners, including responding to queries and coordinating the resolution of issues as needed
- Research, organize and support professional development opportunities for instructors
- Assist with quality assurance surveys to ensure appropriate accountability and program standards are maintained and enhanced
- Maintain internal program statistics and submit regular progress and statistical reports as required
- Keep current with PBLA standards and act as a resource for Instructors across Canada to support PBLA implementation in the program
- Assist in the creation of distance education publications
- Review quarterly student reports and help monitor/update LMS records
- Maintain and monitor records on student progress to ensure efficient student movement through the program and consult with instructors if required
- Help maintain up-to-date instructor records in both soft and hard copy including bios, TESL certificates, and instructor performance reviews
- Review instructor call records for payroll purposes and follow up with staff and instructors on areas that require clarification
- Contribute to and help maintain the LINC Home Study and LMS Teacher Corner to keep instructors updated on program developments and notices
- Assist with the delivery of annual instructor PD Event, including coordination and fulfillment of tasks
- Participation in special projects and other duties as required to support the continuous improvement of the program in conjunction with other team members
- Assist with other tasks as required by the supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in relevant discipline
- TESL Ontario certification (an asset)
- Completion of CLB Bootcamp training
- Completion of Introduction to PBLA training
- Excellent knowledge of the Canadian Language Benchmarks
- Excellent computer knowledge including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, audio/video conferencing, social media, and online collaboration tools
- Experience in delivering online training
- Ability to respond to queries promptly and professionally
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, Instructors, and office staff
- Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
- Strong writing, presentation, and editing skills
- Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of newcomer services and support
- Ability to manage time effectively and to work independently
