Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Account Manager – Contract Manufacturing to lead NOVEM's business development and account cultivation efforts in the freeze-drying and contract manufacturing space.
This remote position is focused on identifying, engaging, and securing key accounts across North America in the Agrifood, Biopharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical, and Petfood sectors. The ideal candidate combines deep industry understanding with strong relationship-building, consultative selling, and strategic account management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and secure new key accounts in NOVEM's core industries.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, serving as their primary business contact.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing, focusing on contract manufacturing and freeze-drying services.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (operations, R&D, quality, logistics) to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Analyze client needs and market trends to identify growth opportunities and tailor NOVEM's solutions to meet customer demands.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and report on progress using CRM tools.
- Represent NOVEM at industry trade shows, conferences, and virtual events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Provide market feedback to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance objectives established by senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably within contract manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, food processing, or pet nutrition industries.
- Proven track record of securing and managing large, strategic accounts.
- Strong understanding of freeze drying, manufacturing services, or technical production environments is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to thrive in a remote, results-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and strong digital communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and corporate events.

Pay: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
