Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and familiarity with medical office procedures. Prior experience with Accuro is highly valued to ensure smooth daily operations in a busy medical environment.

Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive experience
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
  • Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately using Accuro
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and reminders to optimize provider availability
  • Maintain organized front desk area and ensure all documentation complies with privacy regulations
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, faxing and scanning
  • Collaborate with office staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication

Skills

  • Excellent proficiency with Accuro EMR
  • Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist in a Medical Office setting is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and schedules
  • Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor for front desk interactions
  • Office experience that demonstrates ability to handle administrative responsibilities effectively
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and software applications (e.g., MS Office Suite)
