Description

Village Church is seeking a highly organized, reliable, and flexible assistant to support the Senior Pastor, Ministries & Staff. This role involves managing the Senior Pastor's calendar, coordinating ministry projects, handling travel logistics, and ensuring key information and tasks stay on track. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confidential, patient, and able to adapt to shifting priorities. Approximately 8 flexible hours per week, with occasional availability needed during travel periods and regular check-ins in person or via Zoom.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar & Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage the Senior Pastor's calendar, including meetings, leadership team schedules, and complex time management needs.
  • Project Coordination: Organize and track ministry projects led by the Senior Pastor, including classes, staff training, and collaboration initiatives.
  • Administrative Support: Ensure the Senior Pastor is equipped with key information for meetings, partnerships, and engagements.
  • Travel Management: Arrange and manage all aspects of global and national travel, including bookings, itinerary preparation, and real-time troubleshooting.

Hours & Work Expectations

  • Commitment: Approximately 8 flexible hours per week.
  • Flexibility: No set schedule; requires occasional availability at varied times, especially during travel periods.
  • Meetings: Regular weekly or twice a week check-ins (in person or via Zoom).
  • Responsiveness: Tasks may require timely attention based on urgency, but typical work rhythm remains flexible.
