Job Description

We are hiring experienced Exterior Finishing Carpenter / Siding Installer to work on a variety of projects, including new builds, renovations, and custom homes. If you take pride in your work, have strong problem-solving skills, and want to grow with a reliable company, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of exterior envelope: waterproofing, exterior insulation / rainscreen installation
  • Install various types of siding: Hardie board, wood, composite, metal cladding, etc.
  • Complete detailed exterior trim work, including soffit, fascia, and window/door trims
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure installations are square, level, weather-sealed, and meet code
  • Work safely at heights with scaffolding, ladders, and harness systems
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and handle tools with care
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Communicate clearly with site supervisors

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in exterior carpentry or siding installation
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
  • Comfortable working at heights and following all safety protocols
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (preferred)
  • Fall Protection, WHMIS, and other safety tickets are an asset
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude

WORK SITES change, employee must be able to arrive to different work sites in the Greater Victoria Area. (Sidney, Saanich, Victoria, Esquimalt, Langford, Sooke, Colwood, etc)
