Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food industry, strong time management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Duties

  • Prepare a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Serve food items and handle food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space throughout shifts
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
  • Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
