Love coffee, good vibes, and making someone's day? Shy Coffee Co. is looking for an experienced barista who's friendly, reliable, and a joy to work with. Join our team and help pour the perfect cup. Weekend availability is a must

Responsibilities

  • Equipment maintenance and shop upkeep
  • Make sure all health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Prepare and serve great quality coffee and tea drinks, while building and maintaining an enjoyable rapport with customers
  • Warming and wrapping up/bagging sandwiches and pastries for customers
  • Understanding and explaining all the menu offerings in an approachable manner
  • Handling customer transactions
  • Observe relevant health and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Coffee Background (Third wave coffee/semi-automatic espresso machine experience and latte art is a bonus)
  • Proficient in milk steaming techniques
  • Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to problem solve quickly
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility
