Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Valid Tool & Die Maker Certificate of Qualification (COQ).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment; experience with progressive and transfer presses/dies is an asset.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in machining and tool-making equipment, including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and welding tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
  • Experience with die maintenance, including assembly, disassembly, grinding, welding, and preventative maintenance.
  • Physically capable of handling heavy lifting (30+ lbs) and operating overhead cranes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
