Description
We're looking for an experienced and highly organized Senior Development Producer to drive the production of a third-person action game for consoles and PC, based on a globally recognized entertainment franchise.
This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strong production acumen, a deep understanding of cross-discipline development workflows, and significant experience navigating the unique demands of licensed game development. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining detailed schedules, increasing pipeline efficiency, and serving as a key liaison between the development team and the licensor, ensuring brand integrity and approval alignment at every stage. You will be responsible for driving the full production lifecycle—from pre-production through launch—while ensuring schedule alignment, production efficiency, and smooth cross-functional collaboration. You'll act as the primary liaison between the internal development team and the licensor.
This is a rare opportunity to work on a high-profile IP with a passionate and experienced team dedicated to delivering an exceptional, authentic player experience. This role is deeply involved in the day-to-day production process — not just reporting on progress but actively shaping it. You'll be in the trenches with the team, solving problems, tracking progress, and driving execution at every level. This isn't a purely oversight role but a hands-on, execution-focused role — you'll be directly embedded with the team, driving sprint plans, troubleshooting dependencies, reviewing builds, and ensuring every milestone is met with quality. You'll partner closely with leads across various teams to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full development schedule, collaborating with department leads to define key milestones, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies across all disciplines.
- Lead and support cross-functional teams including design, engineering, art, audio, QA, and narrative to keep production on track and within scope. Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules, resource plans, and risk assessments across disciplines
- Streamline production pipelines and workflows to improve team efficiency, reduce blockers, and maintain clear visibility into progress and priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for licensor communications, managing regular reviews, all approvals, milestone submissions, feedback loops, and relationship health to ensure brand integrity and alignment at every stage of development.
- Ensure all game content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and the overall creative vision of the licensed IP, with a strong sensitivity to maintaining franchise authenticity.
- Identify and proactively address production risks, removing blockers and keeping the team focused on key priorities.
- Facilitate strong communication between internal teams and external partners, ensuring expectations, deliverables, and timelines are clearly understood and met.
- Analyze and optimize production pipelines, increasing efficiency across departments and supporting scalable workflows.
- Track progress toward milestones, report regularly to leadership and stakeholders, and drive accountability across the team.
- Support task planning, sprint rituals, and resource allocation using agile or hybrid methodologies suited to the project.
- Partner with discipline leads to prioritize features and content, aligning scope with available resources and deadlines.
- Foster a collaborative, respectful production environment that promotes high-quality output and sustainable team health.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in game production, with at least 2 shipped titles in a Producer or Senior Producer role, preferably on console/PC platforms.
- Proven experience working on licensed IP titles, including day-to-day licensor relationship management, milestone coordination, and brand/IP compliance.
- Deep familiarity with production processes and workflows across game disciplines (design, engineering, art, audio, QA, narrative, etc.).
- Strong understanding of brand/IP sensitivity, particularly when working with high-profile entertainment franchises.
- Experience delivering at least one third-person action or similarly complex gameplay-focused title. Strong understanding of third-person action game development pipelines, including design iteration, content creation, and engine integration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and diplomacy skills - able to navigate feedback loops with both creative teams and external licensors.
- Highly skilled with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ShotGrid, Trello, Excel).
- Experience working with distributed teams and/or external development partners.
- Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and highly adaptable in fast-changing production environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of live operations or post-launch support for AAA titles.
- Passion for storytelling and gameplay systems common in third-person action titles.
- Experience supporting localization, ratings submissions, or international licensor coordination.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits
- Flexible remote/hybrid work options
- A chance to work on a high-visibility title within a world-renowned franchise
- A collaborative studio culture that values creativity, quality, and ownership
